COAXIAL Y-CIRCULATOR
TYPE 2CCH50-1 PROVIDING AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE OF GIVEN VSWR VALUE.

This Y-circulator was designed to protect
a klystron -type generator. Continuous power of generator's emission
is up to 70 kW in UHF range. Circulator provides the work of klystron
at full reflection in any phase from the load-resonator of electron
synchrotron.
Transmission element of the circulator is a balanced 50 Ohm stripline
with coaxial junctions EIA 6-1/8".

Circulator comprises two independent cooling systems: one for ferrite
parts, the other for central conductor.
Cooling liquid: desalted water at 21...31?C.
At the input of circulator, there is installed a duplex directional
coupler, from whence an incident and reflected power signals are being
transmitted to an electronic control unit responsible for automatic
maintenance of given VSWR=1,2.
Into the body of circulator are embedded three photodiodes. Their
signals go also to the above control unit. In case of electrical breakdown
in circulator, the automatic switching-off of power source does occur.
